SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

Eligibility Criteria:

1. High School Graduates: Open to students who have recently graduated or are about to graduate from a high school and are planning to enroll in a college or university.

2. Minimum GPA: A minimum high school GPA of 3.0 is required to be eligible for the scholarship.

3. Gymnasts of all levels: Applicants must have a proven background in gymnastics, either through competition, coaching, or other active involvement in the sport.

Scholarship Details:

- **Award Amount:** $2,500 (awarded once for the 2024-25 academic year

- **Number of Awards:** 1 scholarship will be granted this year.

- **Application Deadline:** [5/1/2024]

- **Essay Topic:** "The Impact of Gymnastics on My Life and Future Goals."

- The essay should be a minimum of 500 words.

- Essays will be evaluated based on content, creativity, and clarity.

- Essays carry more weight in the selection process, than GPA. So make them good

Application Process:

1. Interested candidates must submit the following documents:

- Completed Application Form (see below)

- Essay on the specified topic

- Proof of involvement in gymnastics will be asked if you are selected

**Selection Criteria:**

- **GPA:** 35% weight in the selection process

- **Essay:** 65% weight in the selection process

**Announcement of Winners:**

- Scholarship winner will be notified by [5/31/2024], and announced on our social media pages

- The name of the winners will be posted on the RipGuards/WOD&DONE website and social media channels.
